HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Calls towill cost for the entire call, no matter how long the call or what time of day it is.
This applies to both landlines and mobile phones.
WHY INTRODUCE IT?
Merseyside Police receive more than 350,000 emergency calls a year and many of these are non emergencies: some are not relevant to the police at all.
It is hopedwill help to reduce the pressure on calls and will help the police to provide a better service to callers.
